Sad Day in baseball fans especially for Dodger Fans. One of the greatest baseball players Duke Snider has passed away. He is known as one of the best center fielders to play the game. He will be missed by all.

Draft Lab: Quarterbacks
The NFL Combine begins tomorrow. This is is where the future NFL rookies get their chance to audition for NFL teams. Many players will increase or hurt their stock. The player are evaluated from head to toe. They have scouts measure their arms, chest, weight and height. They run a series of drills to see how fast they can sprint or change directions as they peddle backwards. It is amazing to watch these kids go through these drills just to increase their chances of fulfilling their dreams.

National Signing day
With some much put on college football, the popularity of the National Signing Day has grown every year. The top rated players in the country have the opportunity to hold their own nationally televised press conference at their schools to announced their decision. This is also the time that all the coaches get to see if they were successful in recruiting these top players to come to their school to play for them. These recruiting classes can have a huge effects that not only include the chances of team winning but also on whether the coaches will be able to keep their jobs.
Now yesterday, only two of the top ten players did not decid on what school they will be attending this coming fall. They actually will have until April 1 to sign their letter of intent so they can play football next season. Don't You Want To Play At Farmer's Field?
Yesterday AEG Chief Tim Leiweke, who is the main person that is pushing to get an NFL team back into Los Angeles, announced that they have agreed to a huge deal with Farmer's Insurance for the naming rights to the future NFL stadium. The stadium is to be called Farmer's Field and the proposed site to be built will be next to The Staples Center.
Many attempts have been made to bring a NFL team to Los Angeles but Mr Leiweke has been the most successful. Now there are still many questions as who will be that team that moves to Los Angeles or how some of the features or promises in the stadium proposals will be accomplished, but today's announcement is a huge indictor that the reality of a NFL team in Los Angeles will become true.
Now the stadium cannot be built until a NFL team has agreed to move to Los Angeles and no one has mentioned which teams have been contacted. At the announcement, Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa did mentioned that he did have a secret meeting with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell recently to discuss the NFL to Los Angeles proposal and has spoken to at least one league owner about the move. Mayor Villaraigosa hinted that the pictures that were shown in a video montage at the announcement included one of those interested teams. The video montage showed some highlights of Adrian Peterson of the Minnesota Vikings and the fans of the San Diego Chargers. Also it is known that Jacksonville Jaguars, St. Louis Rams, Buffalo Bills, San Francisco 49ers, and the Oakland Raiders may be looking for new homes.
I myself don't put too much thought into this as it seems to be a never ending story. Then again, they are making some significant moves to bring a team to L.A. Let's see what happens. Hopefully this story has a happy ending.
