Blake's or Kobe's town this All Star Weekend
With this weekend being All Star weekend in Los Angeles, the question being asked is will the city be Blake Griffin's or Kobe Bryant's city? Chris Broussard of ESPN, who I can not stand, gives his opinion on the subject. What do you think?

LA Clippers making some noise.
Los Angeles is now blessed to have two NBA teams. Yes the city has always had two teams but was there anyone else other than me that would watch the Clippers play? The Clippers have won seven out of their last ten games which include solid wins over the city’s beloved Lakers and ESPN’s favorite the Miami Heat. It seems that the team is now starting to mesh together and make a trade so they can be a strong contender for a playoff spot.
Almost everyone would say that the reason they are winning is due to the play of the teams’s young stud Blake Griffin but I would put half of the credit on the rebirth of Baron Davis. Griffin’s play and effort has effected the team which makes them an exciting team to watch. They have solid players throughout the team. In my opinion. they really need either a strong center or reliable small forward to make them a true force in the Western Conference. Tonight Griffin scored 47 points to lead the Clippers to a win over the Pacers and also has had impressive games this season but sooner than later teams are going to figure out how to slow down the big man. What will the Clippers do then?
I am a huge Lakers fan but I have had a special place in my heart for the Clippers for a long time. If I had the money I would buy the Clippers just so that jerk off owner Donald Sterling can stop making money on this team and finally make them a winner. If I could I would trade Chris Kaman for a solid small forward. Kaman still has value right now that you can either get a pretty good draft pick or player. One player I had in mind was JR Smith from the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets can use some inside help and it looks like they will be rebuilding that team. So with that in mind, I think the trade of Kaman for Smith is perfect. JR Smith would fit in nicely with the Clippers by spotting up and knocking down those three’s. Plus he is an aggressive player that would go well on this team.
What do you guys think? Do you think the Clippers can keep this up or make some noise before the trade deadline? Or will they fall on their faces like they always do every year?
