"One Glance"

One glance was all I needed
One glance I saw you there
One glance into your eyes
One glance turned to a stare

I can't explain it in words
But the attraction's got me trippin'
You're the type of woman girl
To stop this man from pimpin'

Straight up simpin' for a chance
For romance - to hold your hand
Being your man ain't on my mind
Being in your heart is all I can

Think about day n' night
A-ight i need to pause

[...]
I can't help but laugh
And glance give you applause

You're more than just a catch
You knock me out like Brad in Snatch
I can show a great match
Like fingers, balls, and men who scratch

With an open heart, and mind
No doubt fo' sho' you'll see
That your future will unfold
Best - if it's with me

Like book me and you bind
Since glance been on the grind
To make like twizzlers intertwined
With you that love that's surely blind

One glance was all it took
One glance to get me shook
One glance more than a look
One glance became the hook

"Guilty As Charged"

Your crime is heinous and you do it without remorse
Conflicted I sit - Conflicted I weep
In shock from your actions, I lay still like a corpse

Such beauty driven by a beast, you speak in tongues
I react, for my actions are without God speed
I inhaled your scent on Day 1 and forever tainted were my lungs

Often I ask God to explain what I did to deserve such from you
I'm not a bad person, I'm not a bad soul
Is my crime the fact that I remain next to you through and through?

From wit's end to eternity - I did vow to you, do you recall?
It is certainly true, when I wake up next to you
Truth is, I feel smaller than small

About as big as a bug, about as snug as one in a rug
We are tight like a hug, intoxicated with your love like a drug

With veins cold like a vamp, you can stare and steal my soul
Torturous and methodical you are
Your crime swallows me whole

Yet no police squad will ever whisk you away, you're too smart
Such a crime of the century - least for my life time it is
You are guilty of loving me with all of your heart.

"It"

Since birth I am man blessed with girth
Sometimes a gift - Sometimes a curse
"It" sits aside my thigh at ease
"It" waits, it devises a plan to pop up and please
"It" goes from timid to hard like rock
Till "It" is ready to be dormant
Then back "It" goes into my sock

The Unknown Girl

I wasn't only a person with a body or a face I saw a girl with a voice begging to be saved begging to live a life she's always wanted I see. A girl wanting to be surrounded by people that truly love her that welcome her in with open arms smile through confusion bring that girl to life to the things yet to be seen. To hear the voice yet to be reckon with nor heard welcome to the life of a girl with a voice a voice that no one hears a voice no one listens to a girl that sat they're waiting for her time other than being the girl without a voice but then again I found that voice when I found  you because I found someone to hear my voice and I thank u for being my eyes when I couldn't see my feet, when I couldn't walk my heart wen it didn't beat my everything but than you turned out to be that person to turn that out spoken girl back into that invisible girl the day you broke my heart with your lies in left me speechless.

Poetry: "Love Re-Defined"

How does one love, when love impairs the mind?
Intoxicated soul leaves the eyes and judgment blind.

Now, does passion account for morals when it acts out of turn?
Yet, all too often we find the yearn does not solidify the burn.

Then why are we compelled to lust and live in disarray?
If you believe in God, it's simple - we owe it to that one eventful day.

How about if beliefs differ, and the answer is ambiguous, and vague?
When as human beings, all we've ever had to do was listen and obey.

I too have lived in such a paradox.
I too have struggled swimming in strife.

I surely know what's wrong.
Although, at times it feels like more so than I know what's right.

So how does one change the soul, heart, and mind in the blink of an eye?
One does not - like me - all one can do is try.

We live and love blindly, with flaws intertwined within our DNA.
Do our best to walk the path of righteousness and when we falter...

We say Good Day!

That's life right? It goes on - as do we. Truth.
