The hardware

• Dual-core A5 processor, which is "up to two times faster".
• The graphics have been improved too. The GPU goes at nine times the speed as before.
• Same low power consumption as the A4.
• Built-in cameras for photos and video: One for frontal FaceTime videoconferencing and one on the back.
• It also has a built-in gyroscope, like the iPhone 4.
• They claim the battery life is 10 hours, like before, with a one month stand-by time.
• HDMI mirrored video output.

iPad 2 Event - Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is “the day” the world is introduced to the iPad 2. Now, before you get crazy, don’t expect too much out of it; consider it a refresh, and by that I mean minimal changes. It’s sure to have a camera and to be thinner and improved memory; however, the much anticipated retina display will not be added.

Trust me.

With much talk about Apple possibly launching the iPad 3, one Apple representative recently was quoted saying exactly what I just told you all – not to expect much from the iPad 2; however, the iPad 3 – that will be drastically different. I am paraphrasing of course, but apple staff does not talk very much, so when they do – it’s best to listen.

So check back often tomorrow as I intend to bring you all the information on Apples “iPad 2 event” tomorrow morning!
