Update: Recently talks between the Nets and the Nuggets have heated up; according to one source close to the teams, the Nets have made a very aggressive offer and they want Carmelo bad.
On a side note, we also know the New York Knicks want him and they too are raising the ante on what they would offer for his services.
Obviously, after last nights debacle in Cleveland, the Los Angeles Lakers could use his scoring; however, they to me seem like the long shot of the teams interested in Carmelo. That said, I do think if he wants to win a title, his best shot at doing so will be with the Lakers. We all know money makes the world go 'round and I expect nothing short of that being the case for Anthony. In the past he's said he did not want to go to New Jersey, but you never know, he may have changed his mind.
Only time will tell; and on that note fans, the clock is ticking with seven more days left until the deadline.
