So, as I was cursing around my Twitter updates I came across this story on Yellowstone National Park titled, “Yellowstone Super Volcano Bigger than Thought!” Of course, my immediate reaction was to read the story. I mean, come on, if you are familiar with the history of Yellowstone National Park you would jump on it right away as well, if you are not familiar click here for our video on the topic (cheap plug! Lol).
So, I’m reading this article and it’s just fascinating, giving me fact after fact on why they definitely know that it’s bigger than they ever thought of before. How the new imaging processes they are using confirm and back up everything they discovered. All of it was truly fascinating stuff, everything, fascinating.
But, the only thing I could really think about was how unnecessary it was for me to read this article. I mean, come on, I already know that if Yellowstone erupts in my life time it would result in an “end-of-the-world” type of situation. Now, all this article did was tell me, “if you thought you were fucked before, well guess what? You are even more fucked now. We are talking gang raped fucked, train fucked, no lube fucked!” I’m like, jeez thanks for the info!
So there you have it folks, now we all know that if Yellowstone were to erupt in our life time it wouldn’t just be the end of life as we know it, but the end of life as we know to the 3rd power! Just in case some of you out there thought you could survive such an event these guys are here to tell you, nope.com. lol

We'd survive it as a species. Early humns with nothing but stone tools and pre-argiculture, living within a smaller area of habitation, survived the Toba event, the largest eruption on earth in the last 25 Mil. years.
