Blogg City Bashers Lose

Yesterday was the first game of the 2011 playoffs for the Blogg City Bashers and it came one day too early for the team. They came out with no energy which resulted in a 109 to 100 lost to the Old Reeves Wasps. The Wasps were lead by point guard Kris Peter which lead the team to an upset win.


Bashers shooting guard and star player Obie Ryant said "we just didn't meet the intensity that the Wasps brought. We need to do better in game two or we will find ourselves in a huge hole."

The Bashers are the top team to contend for the championship. So it seems that the team was just not ready to get the playoffs started. Game two should provide a great contest between these teams. When asked about what to expect in game two of this series Kris Peter said "Game two will be a battle. We expect the Bashers to be a totally different. We may have caught them on a off day but they will definitely be ready in game two. We need to make sure that we show up."

Many experts predicted a short series for the Bashers and with the Bashers winning the best of seven series in four or five games. The Wasps made sure that this series goes at least five games.
