If I Were The NFL Commissioner

I have written what I would do if I were the NBA commissioner, the MLB commissioner and the PGA commissioner and it seems as though everyone loved my ideas (except the powers that be in those three organizations -- I am still waiting for you to call me!  Suck it up and admit I am the man for your organizations.) 

Anyway, I was thinking about this whole NFL Labor lockout thing and it dawned on me:  "Boss, You should be the NFL Commissioner!"  Why?  Because I have an idea that will solve the labor problem and bring football back to the world (at least to all those who care about football in the world.)  

OK, so here is my idea that should win some type of Nobel Prize if they made one for settling labor agreements or brilliant ideas.  Why don't we have the owners and the players take one-third of the profit from the nearly $10 billion that they would make if they play next season.  That is over $3 billion each.  That is a lot of money.  Now the other third ($3.3 billion for those who are math deficient)  could be donated to some type of charity.  There are tons of charities to pick from:  public education needs a boost, boy's and girl's clubs, Cancer research, give a couple million to Japan and other countries in need of aid.  Not only would this help better the world, it would give the NFL a much needed public image boost.  So donate, donate, donate.  


They can give to as many charities as they want--I don't care how many as long as I get a nice salary.  I would take a salary of $1 million to be NFL commissioner and donate four-fifths of my salary to charity!  How do you like that!!!  I am so generous!!!
